Mark 11:1-11: The Triumphal Entry

“The Lord has need of it...”. One simple phrase gives us the foundation
of our Lenten journey for 2022. As we draw nearer to Christ by reading
and praying through His journey to the cross and victorious resurrection,
we will come heart to heart with the same question over and over and
over again: what does the Lord need from me? It may be small, it could
be unexpected, but when the invitation comes, nothing is greater than
honoring our King by obeying His call. There is a direct connection
between obedience and worship: our submission the will of God
produces a heart that couldn’t help but worship our King.

Ask the Lord to create a soft, tender heart toward His direction. Pay
attention to what He brings to mind as He speaks through your time in
prayer and His Word. “Hosanna in the highest!”
