Mt. 25:14-30
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” I don’t know about you but
there are few phrases I long to hear more than “well done.” Whether in
the classroom or at home, I wanted to hear people say they were proud
of my work. Can you relate? Scriptures time and again paint us a picture
of faithful followers bearing fruit (say that 3 times fast).
Many have great potential but fall into mediocre Christianity: neither
thriving nor bearing fruit. This is not the life we’ve been set apart for.
We are to do all we can to utilize the gifts we’ve been given to help
others grow to know, love, and follow Christ. When we do, Christ says
we’re invited into the joy of our master. Not only is God pleased when
we fulfill our potential, we are invited into that joy with Him.
What would you say are the gifts and potential God has granted you?
How does He want you to use those to bear fruit for His Kingdom?
